Most of the time I play poker nowadays, I am playing live poker, but no matter how much live poker I play I will end up having played more hands of online poker than live poker. You can play many more hands per hour online and most years I’ve played more hours online than live. The gap is insurmountable. I don’t remember playing this hand. I grabbed it from an old Notepad file of trouble hands I intended to look up. My memory for live poker hands is much stronger than for online hands. When I recall live hands I can remember where I was seated, what I was eating and what I was listening to. Online poker moves so fast there is no time to remember anything beyond, “I have to play the next hand or I’m going to timeout”. Today’s hand is from a 2k on Pokerstars on March 22nd 2020, right after lockdown started; I was probably using disinfectant wipes on packaged groceries. Even though this bluff worked, I three bulleted this tourney and did not cash.
